A family-run hotel decorated in a traditional Alpine style, the 3-star Fernblick is located at 1470 metres of altitude. It offers a small wellness centre, and views of the Ortler Mountains and of Lago della Muta lake. Rustic and modern, the rooms come with carpeted or parquet floors, light or dark-wood furniture, and a bathroom with shower. Each offers an LCD satellite TV, and a furnished balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby. Breakfast is a sweet and savoury buffet, including cold cuts, cheese, different types of bread, eggs, cereals, homemade jams and cakes. The restaurant is open for dinner and specialises in regional cuisine of South Tyrol and classic Italian dishes. Hotel Fernblick's garden is equipped with sun loungers, parasols, table and chairs. There is also a little playground, set amongst fruit trees and flowers, and a games room with table soccer and ping pong. BBQ facilities with nice wooden benches and tables, owned by the property, are available at a 10-minute walking distance, right at the entrance of the nearby forest. Hiking tours are offered once a week, and you can also rent mountain bikes at reception. The wellness centre is complete with Finnish sauna, steam bath, solarium, infra-red cabin and ice grotto. There are 2 relaxation areas with four-poster bed. Cross country ski is possible right in front of the building, where you can also catch the public ski bus to the Malga di San Valentino ski slopes, located 800 metres away. The public bus stop for links with Merano and Landeck in Austria is a 3-minute walk away.
