The property is nestled between tropical gardens at the rear of the property and the beach directly across the road. Relax on the front deck equipped with BBQ facilities, or choose to unwind in one of our communal spaces which boast a fully equipped kitchen, generous open air lounge with TV, dining areas, a free pool table and outdoor pizza oven. The local supermarket is a 1 minute walk, and the bottle shop, pub and restaurants are all within a 5 minute walk. Arcadia Beach Guest House and Car Hire is located directly across from the beautiful Geoffrey Bay Marine Park hosting many varieties of marine life. It has wonderful snorkelling opportunities with the self-guided snorkel trail and Molke shipwreck at your doorstep. Stroll to the end of the bay to see the rock wallabies or take a bush walk to amazing lookouts and see koalas in their natural habitat. We hire open top 4WDs and enclosed wagons so you head off to the more remote and picturesque beaches of Radical Bay, Arthur Bay and Florence Bay (some walking involved) for some snorkelling and finish the day taking in the awesome sunset at Westpoint. The property is a 20-minute ferry journey from mainland Townsville and a 3-minute drive from Nelly Bay Harbour and Marina. Buses meet every ferry, or you can book a private transfer direct with us (small fee applies). Magnetic Island National Park and the Magnetic Island Golf Course are both a 7-minute drive away. We offer a range of accommodation to suit all budgets, from small dorm rooms (maximum 4 beds with no bunks) to a luxurious ensuited apartment with it’s own balcony overlooking the ocean.
